I’m an editor with nearly 25 years’ experience. For years, I’ve worked on children’s books, adult non-fiction, educational content, online courses and web content. I also have a bit of an obsession with task-management tools and making online content accessible.

I’ve worked at book publishers like Lothian Books (now part of Hachette) and Lake Press, and I’ve worked at educational organisations like the Australian Council for Educational Research and Macmillan Education. I’m now working at La Trobe University, working on online courses, academic resources and digital accessibility. I also worked as a freelance editor for 11 years, so I know what it takes to be a successful freelancer.

I’ve got too many books in my to-read pile, and a beautiful collection of picture books. My favourite thing to do is talk about writing, editing and books. That’s why I started my Substack.
