A calm corner for curious kids
When your kids can’t get to school, the ND Learning Library will be here to help you give them a way to learn at home, in a low-pressure, fun way.
What’s it all about?
The ND Learning Library will be an online space full of activities designed for your kids, themed by their special interest.
It’s about taking the pressure off and helping kids enjoy learning in a way that has nothing to do with their formal school environment.
Inside the Library, there’ll be:
short, low-pressure learning activities
printable activities and guides
categories based on common special interests
suggestions for kids’ books that fit with each special interest, and as well as notes for parents and carers based on the book to help you guide their learning
an optional structure for when you want a bit of guidance, but not a full-on plan.
Some kids need routine, while others have to have flexibility, so the Library is built with that in mind.
You’ll be able to pop in for a short burst of activity, or spend a morning on it. Whatever works best for you and your kids.
What’s coming
The Library is in the planning stage, and I’m really excited to build it with you, so that you get exactly what you’re looking for. But to start, here’s what you can expect:
Packs that you can purchase individually
Themes based on special interest (for example, space, books, animals, music …)
Packs categorised by age
Activities loosely based on the Australian Curriculum, but designed to be nothing like school – this is all designed to be low pressure
